I have had an amazing roller coaster ride of career history in the fashion industry, with business acumen that easily translates to most, if not all industries. When outsourced from my role in fashion in 2010, along with a majority of the workforce, I returned to college to obtain a master’s degree that allowed me to network as well as become an adjunct (part time) professor in business and marketing. While seeking my next career path, I worked in various industries such as; fashion, my first love, construction and the funeral industry. I live by a quote from the sit-com, Derry Girls, “sometimes dreams are broken in life, we just need to make new ones from the pieces.” We all have the choice to evolve or give up and being a strong, empathetic leader, there is no option but to remain enthusiastic no matter the path we find ourselves on. I am an analytical thinker with a strong level of common sense, friendliness & ability to effectively solve problems under pressure. Utilize Procore and BUILDR to set up new projects and manage them through completion.

Manage project team directories within Procore, including trades, owners & architects.

Contracts – edit AIA Documents for attorney review and execute final to owners.

Insurance and Bond Management:

Proactively review and manage insurance and bond requirements for all projects.

Request and verify insurance certificates and coverage limits for General Contractors and Subcontractors.

Verify Worker's Compensation coverage through the NYS WC Website.

Maintain a daily log of insurance and bond status within Air-table or any data storage platform used by your company.

Review the bonds for Contract value, proper project name, surety status, and supporting documents before forwarding them to the Attorney.

Secure required approvals from NYSIR/Broker for insurance packages.

Collect Indemnification forms and P&P bonds from Subcontractors, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.

Facilitate bond approval by the Attorney and communicate the status back to contractors.

Communication and Documentation:

Track and respond efficiently to all project communications.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

Draft various project documents including award letters.

Relationship Building:

Foster strong working relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders, acting as their advocate.
